Why are essential oils so beneficial?
Think of essential oils as nature’s little miracle workers! They’re packed with therapeutic properties that can work wonders for your skin and overall well-being with regular use. Derived from various parts of flowers and plants, essential oils have been used for centuries – if not millennia- by peoples and cultures all over the world for medicinal and aromatherapeutic purposes.
How do you come up with the essential oil blends for your soaps?
Creating these blends is like conjuring up a brand-new work of art—it’s a mix of knowledge, experience, and a sprinkle of intuition! We’re all about quality! Each essential oil is carefully hand-picked and tested to ensure only the best for your skin. I source my oils from premium suppliers all over the country. It is ALL about the quality!
The Soap-Making Process
What’s the difference between your Glycerin and Cold-Processed Soaps.
Our Cold-Processed Soaps offer the added bonus of essential oils, packed with healing properties to target specific skin and health concerns you might have. Crafted through a meticulous process that spans four weeks, these soaps are tailored with your skin’s needs in mind. On the other hand, our Glycerin Soaps, whipped up from vegetable glycerin and natural fragrances, offer a gentle touch for overall skin care.
Do Glycerin soaps have health benefits?
You bet! Glycerin is a gentle, hypoallergenic ingredient perfect for sensitive skin, and the natural fragrances add a touch of aromatherapeutic goodness.
Where do you make all your soaps?
Right here in Hale’iwa! Every bar is handcrafted with love by me (Lori) and my fantastic team, Drew and Mark.
Can I use all your soaps on my face and body?
Absolutely! Even our Shampoo bar and Soap 4 Dishes! Each one of our bars are designed to cleanse and care for your entire body, particularly those with sensitive skin. Please note, patch testing is always a good idea if you’re unsure!
I have a nut allergy – can I still use your soaps?
If you’re nut-sensitive, our glycerin soaps are your best bet, as some of our cold-processed bars contain kukui and macadamia nut oils.
Do you sell anything else other than soap?
Oh, we’ve got more than just soap! We have candles, spritzers, soap dishes and more! In our store we have collections of locally made jewelry, unique art pieces, vintage finds, and our uplifting, island-inspired candles, all crafted on the North Shore.
Care
How should I care for my soaps?
For our Cold Processed soaps – nothing can hurt these babies but water! So if you accidentally leave them in the sun or near a heater, they’ll be fine.
For our Glycerin soaps – we recommend that you do not leave them in direct sunlight or they will get soft
When it’s time to lather up with your soaps, we suggest keeping the bars on a soap dish with drainage. That way they won’t sit in a puddle of water and become gooey.

Do you ship to mainland America?
Absolutely! Shipping to the mainland is a flat $16 rate, no matter the size of your order.
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet, but it’s in the works! Stay tuned for updates.
Do you offer any bulk discounts?
You betcha! Buy 4 soap bars, and the 5th one’s on us. Mix and match to your heart’s content! We also have the same offer for our votive candles!
